The Friends of Checkley Church is an independent charity set up for the preservation, repair, maintenance and improvement of the building, fixtures and fittings of the Parish Church of St Mary and All Saints’ Checkley.

The Checkley Parish & Community News is a monthly printed publication which does "what it says on the tin." It carries details of events taking place at the church and also in both Checkley and Lower Tean. In addition, there are regular articles about the history of the villages.
